Dear Members and Friends;
It’s that time again… membership renewals for the 2024 ICUB year are here. We need all of you to recommit to ICUB’s mission.
The Iowa Council of the United Blind is a consumer-run organization dedicated to improving the equality, opportunity, and independence of blind Iowans. Through education, advocacy, and a firm belief in the potential and abilities of people with vision loss, we help each other become fully participating members of our families, communities, and workplaces.
ICUB dues are $10, with $5 going to the state affiliate and $5 going to the American Council of the Blind national affiliate. Dues for a local chapter membership are an additional $5 per chapter. If you have already paid your dues, thank you! Reminder: Lifetime memberships of ICUB do not need to pay $5 for the state affiliate portion.
Our current active chapters are Des Moines, Dubuque and Across Iowa. You can pay your dues through one of these chapters, by using the attached form, or on our website at www.icublind.org. Donations are always welcomed and appreciated and can be submitted this way as well.
