ICUB 2022 State Convention Approaches!

We are so excited to be back in person for this year’s ICUB state convention. Part of our convention this year will be tours on Friday afternoon at the Iowa Department for the Blind Library, and the State Historical Building exhibit, People and Places in Iowa. We have been working hard to put together a touch tour of the exhibit, and it will premiere on Friday, August 26. There is no cost to attend either tour, and please plan for about 60 to 90 minutes for each. If you plan to attend one or both of the tours, please let us know so we can ensure the group size is appropriate for all to get the most out of the tour. To register please email Bettina Dolinsek at: dolinsekbettina@gmail.com or by calling 515-418-1201. We know that the hotel this year is in Ankeny, and transportation might cause a hardship for some to go downtown, and then back to Ankeny, so if you do need transportation assistance, please contact Carrie Chapman for help. She can be reached by email at: president@icublind.org or by calling 515-657-1461. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you at this year’s conference, and I hope you plan on attending the tours. Cheers!
