Des Moines Chapter Meeting

Hello, members and friends!

On Monday, February 12, we will be holding our monthly meeting at the Iowa Department for the Blind, located at 524 4th Street.  The doors open at 5, and the meeting begins at 5:30.  This Monday, we will be joined by Dr. Tim Knepper, Professor of Philosophy at Drake University.  He heads what is called the Comparison Project.  The Comparison Project seeks to foster awareness of the religions throughout Des Moines and the surrounding areas by holding public lectures as well as on-site visitations.

Lori Trujillo Roush will be bringing Girl Scout cookies for those who have preordered as well as plenty for those who would like to order them at the meeting.  Our goal is to sell 100 boxes.  Remember, 20% of the funds goes to support our chapter.

Looking forward to seeing all of you!
