*** Important Notice: ISU Research Study ***

Dear Members and Friends,

As many of you may remember, in the winter of 2017, the Iowa Council of the United Blind partnered with Iowa State University on a voting machine study.

The company that manufactured the machines we tested in 2017 has asked that a new machine be tested with blind and low vision users. The machine is a ballot tabulator. Participants will be asked to submit a ballot using the machine and then tell researchers about their experience.

The study takes about 15 minutes, and participants will be compensated $10 for their time and input.

The study will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022, from 3:30 Pm to 7:00 PM at the Iowa Department for the Blind on 2South.

You do not have to be an ICUB member to participate. All are welcome and there is no registration.

If you have any questions in regard to participation please contact Lori Trujillo Roush at 515-402-3508 or ltrujilloroush@yahoo.com

Thank you!
