State Convention Highlights

Hi Everyone!

During the weeks leading up to our state convention, I will be sending emails highlighting exciting events you won’t want to miss during the convention.  This week, I am highlighting our breakout sessions.

The breakout sessions will occur on Friday, August 23rd, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.  Each session is an hour and a half, and they run twice.  So, if you go to one session at 2, you can go to the next session at 3:30.  Those two breakout sessions are the touch tour provided by the Historical Society of Iowa and the blindness technology timeline. 

These two breakout sessions are in keeping with the theme of our convention this year: Honoring Our Past, Building Our Future.  You won’t want to miss these sessions. 

I hope all of you have received your convention packet and will be registered soon if you are not already.
