Des Moines Chapter Meeting

Members and friends,

Our May meeting will be held at the Iowa Department for the Blind at 524 4th Street in Des Moines, Iowa.  Doors open at 5, and the meeting begins at 5:30.  We meet in the assembly room at the Department.  Donna has volunteered to bring treats, so come with an appetite. 

This month, our speaker is Joy John of Ankeny, Iowa.  Joy is a student at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa.  One of her overarching goals is to make the world more accessible for everyone.  She will be sharing with us her life story.  I have no doubt that we will be inspired.  As always, my hope is that all of you can make it in person.  Understanding that this is impossible for some of our members, I have posted the Zoom link below.  Be well.
