We would like to invite you to join us on Monday evening, November 13, 2023, for our Des Moines chapter meeting. This is the last meeting of the year, and we have some exciting plans in store for you!
Beginning at 5:00 PM in the Assembly Room at the Iowa Department for the Blind, we will be holding our 2nd annual chili cook-off. This is a fundraiser to send members to the ACB legislative seminar in 2024. Consider bringing a chili or a few dollars to vote for your favorite!
Also beginning at 5:00 PM, Kyle Kuhlman and his wife Erica will be demonstrating and providing members with the opportunity to play accessible darts. Kyle is a tournament dart player, and he would like to get others involved in the sport. Later in the meeting, he will be discussing his experiences.
So come early and join us for a bowl of hot chili and a couple rounds of darts!
Our chapter meeting will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. In addition to our speaker and regular chapter business, we will be holding board elections for the 2024 calendar year.
